Our photography studio in Milan CLICK E CHIC
Click E Chic: over twenty years of timeless memories
Click E Chic has specialised in wedding photography since 2003. We create elegant, individual wedding photographs, working mainly in Milan, Lake Como, Bergamo and Varese, as well as throughout Italy and abroad. We work in both Italian and English with our international couples.
Our style: candid storytelling and fine art elegance
Our approach combines spontaneous documentary photography with fine art elegance. We look for natural expressions, joy and the immediacy of a moment, with close attention to every detail. We also value thoughtfully composed portraits: by considering light, framing and the way you look at one another, we create images that feel natural rather than staged.
Our team’s experience in fashion, publishing and art brings a creative perspective to every wedding. Among the celebrations we have photographed is the wedding of Virna Toppi and Nicola Del Freo, principal dancers at Teatro alla Scala.
Our work extends beyond digital photography. We also use traditional techniques, including large-format cameras, film and Polaroid, to create unique, tangible photographs. Our relationship with couples often continues long after their wedding day, as we document the next chapters of their family story.
Experience and professional standards
Technical quality and careful storytelling are central to our work.
- Certified by Leica: our studio holds official Leica certification.
- Professional associations: we are members of ANFM, the Italian association of wedding photographers, and Tau Visual.
- Our Milan studio: visit us at Via Gargano 51, Milan, to plan your wedding photography together.
Our photography studio in Milan is the home of Click E Chic: the place where our team plans weddings throughout Italy and Andrea Ciriminna creates his portraits.
Meet our team
ANDREA CIRIMINNA
Photographer, founder and co-owner of
Click E Chic Photography Studio
Andrea discovered his love of photography and chemistry as a boy, setting up his first darkroom in the family bathroom and keeping everyone else out for hours. His passion for traditional photographic techniques has stayed with him ever since.
He worked in theatre with French mime artist Marcel Marceau before spending a year photographing fashion on the sunny beaches of Miami. Wedding photography came almost by chance, when clients from the publishing world asked him for something beyond the usual wedding pictures. Little by little, Click E Chic was born.
Although he now spends less time in the darkroom, he has never abandoned it. His interest in chemistry also finds its way into the kitchen: brewing beer and making preserves, fermented vegetables, yoghurt and kefir. This time, his family is grateful.
His song? Kodachrome!
His other passion? Radios.
His favourite film? Probably Pulp Fiction.
The photographers who have influenced him? The list is endless. Ansel Adams, the master of the darkroom, comes first, followed by Peter Knapp, Bob Krieger, Paolo Roversi, Irving Penn, Bert Stern, Peter Beard, Guy Bourdin and Peter Lindbergh, among many others.
BARBARA BADETTI
Photographer and co-owner of
Click E Chic Photography Studio
As a child, Barbara was so shy that she would not speak to strangers. Anyone who knows her now would find that hard to believe: she even speaks three languages so she can chat with everyone.
She has always loved photography, art and painting. She paints, trained in fresco painting and is also a printmaker. As a girl she kept trying to borrow her father’s camera, until she was finally given one of her own.
She graduated in Economics and Business, although she still wonders why, since her path was already leading towards a more creative life. She loves exhibitions, where she could happily spend hours, and is a voracious reader. Precise and particular about words, she writes most of the studio’s blog and magazine articles. The sea and rock music are her other great passions.
Her favourite painter? Rembrandt.
Her heroine? There are several, but Margaret Bourke-White immediately comes to mind; Barbara recommends her autobiography, Portrait of Myself.
Her favourite photographer? It depends: Arnold Newman, Avedon and Annie Leibovitz for portraits; Doisneau for his humour; Munkacsi for his innovation and dynamism; Saul Leiter for reflections and colour; Weston because every still life is a small work of art. The list could go on.
FRANCESCA
Studio photographer
Francesca’s earliest photographic memories are the slides from her journalist father’s adventurous journeys around the world. They inspired her to tell stories through images, leading her to study photography at LABA, the Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia.
She describes herself as precise and thoughtful, yet active and full of energy: sitting still is not for her. Her photographs reflect that balance, with a fresh, spontaneous style and an eye for detail.
She has practised Muay Thai for several years and dreams of visiting Thailand. London, where she once lived and returns whenever she can, holds a special place in her heart.
Her favourite film? Notting Hill, of course: she dreams of living there one day.
She would love to be Carrie Bradshaw, enjoys shopping and has a weakness for floral dresses, pastel colours and handbags: the smaller, the better.
Her favourite photographers? Helmut Newton for elegance, Erwin Olaf for precise composition and Annie Leibovitz for the depth of her extraordinary portraits.
GIANNI
Studio portrait photographer
A true Sicilian, Gianni loves the sea and the light. The interplay of light is at the heart of his photographic style.
He graduated in Architecture, but photography had been a constant passion since his teens. He studied and learned his craft in photographic laboratories and studios in Sicily before moving to northern Italy, where he seems quite at home despite the colder weather.
Precise, discreet and tireless, he is almost the studio’s Swiss watch. Yet mention photography and his eyes light up with unmistakable Mediterranean passion.
His sports? Basketball and swimming.
His favourite photographer? He says Andrea Ciriminna. Should we believe him?
MASSIMILIANO
Studio documentary photographer
Known as “Riccio”, Max has worked with Andrea since before Click E Chic was founded.
After studying at Bauer in Milan, he travelled extensively in Argentina and California, following in the footsteps of Ansel Adams and other great photographers.
Wedding photography is one part of a broad photographic exploration that also includes still life and the urban landscape. An expert in large-format cameras and a passionate film photographer, he is the ideal companion for Andrea’s darkroom experiments.
He loves nature and is a vegetarian, cyclist, environmentalist and dreamer. Travel writing is his favourite reading, especially Tiziano Terzani’s accounts of the East.
His favourite photographer? Ansel Adams, naturally.
His mentor? Gabriele Basilico, a continuing source of inspiration for his architectural photography.
MASSIMO
Studio photographer
A promising young footballer, Massimo spent his childhood and teenage years chasing a ball, rather like the heroes of Captain Tsubasa. At thirteen, he left home to pursue a competitive football career.
A serious injury brought that career to an end, but introduced him to a new love: photography. We are very glad it did.
A gifted documentary photographer, he trained in the tradition of the great Neapolitan masters, retaining their polished style while adding his own creative flair.
A cat lover, he named his two beautiful cats Riccia and Frolla.
ELISA
Graphic designer
The daughter of a graphic designer and an engineer who also paints, Elisa grew up surrounded by visual art. She has always drawn, so studying Design at the Politecnico was a natural choice.
Despite her love of digital work, her first passion has never faded: she still draws and paints in watercolour.
These days she leads something of a superhero’s double life: interaction designer by day and editorial graphic designer by night. Or the other way round, depending on the moment.
Alongside pencils and watercolours, she loves typography, carefully choosing the fonts used for wedding invitations and the rest of the wedding stationery.
As Vasco sings, she is an incurable romantic.
The books that shaped her? Everything by Munari and Falcinelli.
Her favourite painter? David Hockney.
Places to visit, and revisit? Nepal and Japan, where she has also lived.
