How the Polaroid wedding service works

A dedicated photographer follows the celebration with a documentary approach, capturing spontaneous moments and group photographs. The instant prints are given to your guests as personal wedding keepsakes.

We usually take around 100 instant photographs per wedding, with the number tailored to your guest count and the length of the celebration. We can set up a small themed photo corner, photograph guests naturally as the party unfolds, or combine both approaches.

Large-format cameras and Fujifilm Instax Wide

One of our distinctive options is a professional large-format camera, adapted for instant photography. Combined with Fujifilm Instax Wide film, it offers an alternative to a conventional instant camera.

Sharp images and vivid colours, including in lower-light settings.
Wide-format film, 86 × 108 mm, well suited to group photographs.
Fast development, so guests can enjoy the experience as it happens.
A small professional set, with a dedicated photographer to make your guests feel at ease in front of the camera.
On request, we can also use a Polaroid SX-70 with original Polaroid film, measuring 107 × 88 mm.

Milan, Lombardy and weddings throughout Italy

Our studio is at Via Gargano 51 in Milan. Our Polaroid wedding service is available across Lombardy, including Milan, Como, Bergamo, Varese, Brescia, Monza, Lecco, Pavia and the surrounding areas.

We also travel to other regions, including Piedmont, Veneto, Tuscany, Sicily and Sardinia, and to wedding venues throughout Italy. Travel costs for weddings outside Lombardy are agreed clearly as part of your personalised quote.

How much does Polaroid wedding photography cost?

The cost depends on the number of guests, the length of the celebration and the customisation you choose. The indicative range is €300–€500, including a dedicated photographer and film.

For a typical wedding, we recommend around 100 instant photographs, tailored to your needs. Extras such as a Polaroid guestbook, duplicate photographs or travel outside Lombardy are agreed when preparing your quote.

Which cameras do you use?

We recommend Fujifilm Instax Wide film, used with an original Fujifilm Instax Wide camera or with an adapted large-format camera. On request, we can also use a Polaroid SX-70 with original Polaroid film.

Why do you recommend Fujifilm Instax Wide?

We recommend it for its faster development, sharp results and lower film cost. The larger Wide format is also well suited to group photographs.

What size are the instant photographs?

Fujifilm Instax Wide film measures 86 × 108 mm, with an image area of 62 × 99 mm. Original Polaroid film measures 107 × 88 mm, with an image area of 79 × 79 mm.

A large-format camera offers a distinctive photographic experience and image quality. We set up a small professional photo corner, with a dedicated photographer who helps your guests feel like models.

How well do the photographs last?

We use quality film for lasting keepsakes. In our studio's experience, prints taken three years earlier still look fresh. Your instant photographs are intended to be enjoyed for years.

What are the advantages over a photo booth?

The photographer's interaction makes the experience personal and helps include guests who might not notice a booth or might feel shy about using it. Everyone has a chance to take home a memory with the couple.

Can we create a Polaroid guestbook?

Yes. When giving photographs to your guests, the photographer can invite them to add their print to a guestbook you have prepared. The couple supplies the guestbook and any frames or display boards. We are happy to offer suggestions.

Where can we buy instant film?

You can buy film at our studio at Via Gargano 51 in Milan, or on Amazon.

Does instant film have an expiry date?

The expiry date is printed on the packaging. The photographer checks it before use.

Can guests keep a print while we keep the photograph too?

We can take duplicate instant photographs so that both you and your guests keep a print. Alternatively, we can give the instant print to your guests and take a second digital photograph for you.

Do you work only in Milan?

Our studio is in Milan, but we photograph weddings throughout Lombardy and regularly travel across Italy, including the islands. Contact us for a quote that includes any travel costs.
