Villa Muggia in Stresa overlooks Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands. Its historic interiors, terrace and park offer a varied setting for wedding photography, from intimate preparations to an evening celebration.
Clara and Arthur, a Lebanese bride and an English groom living in Italy, chose this lakeside residence to bring together family and friends from around the world.

Clara and Arthur’s Wedding Story
Clara prepared in the villa’s suite, wearing a Jenny Packham gown, before joining Arthur at the Chiesa Vecchia in Belgirate. After an emotional religious ceremony, the couple left in a vintage Volkswagen Beetle and made their way to Villa Muggia.
Christian and Rachele of Calliope Wedding coordinated the reception. Before greeting their guests, the couple enjoyed a portrait session with Click E Chic in the villa’s rooms. An aperitivo by Le Muse Banqueting then welcomed everyone into the park.
Dinner took place beneath the garden marquee, with speeches from friends, Clara’s father and the newlyweds. The celebration moved back towards the villa for the cake cutting on the terrace, followed by music, cocktails and dancing in the main room.
Barbara photographed the wedding and Federico created the film. Flowers by Vertuani Fiori and music by Sartoria della Musica completed a day that brought different countries and families together on Lake Maggiore.
