Villa Rusconi-Clerici stands beside Lake Maggiore in Pallanza, with an English-style garden and views towards Isola di San Giovanni. Its private landing stage, lakeside pavilion and historic rooms create a varied setting for a destination wedding.
Bea and James, an international couple living in Dubai, chose the bride’s home country for their celebration. Andrea and Barbara followed their day from the preparations to the party at the villa.

Bea and James’s Wedding Story
The couple prepared at the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées. Bea wore a romantic Mark Ingram dress, Acquachiara shoes and a bouquet by Rattiflora before joining James at the church of Saints Gervaso and Protaso in Baveno.
After the ceremony and a short portrait session at the hotel, the newlyweds travelled with their witnesses by motorboat from Stresa to Pallanza. At Villa Rusconi-Clerici, Blunotte’s big band and an aperitivo by Class Eventi welcomed the guests. Wedding coordinator Danila Stella managed the arrivals and the flow of the celebration.
Dinner took place in the garden pavilion, with lively speeches from the couple and their friends. The cake cutting and bouquet toss followed on the lawn before everyone moved to the historic cellars for dancing.
