My NYBFW experience (part 1): Galia Lahav

Big news: Galia Lahav has landed in Milan! An announcement that deserves celebration even before we dive into the magical runway experience at the New York Bridal Fashion Week 2025.

This marks the beginning of an exhilarating journey: every year, the launch of new bridal collections is a must-watch moment for anyone who loves wedding fashion, as Click E Chic does. And NYBFW is absolutely the place to be — glamorous venues, iconic designers, dazzling shows, and a dreamlike atmosphere of lace, silk, airy tulle, and luxurious detailing.

For bridal professionals and style insiders alike, attending the Galia Lahav show is like entering a parallel universe — one made of whispered love stories, couture artistry, and meticulous craftsmanship. Whether you’re a stylist, a bride-to-be, or a fashion journalist, Galia Lahav shows are immersive experiences. They blur the line between high fashion and theatre, couture and poetry.

Galia Lahav: Two Dream Bridal Collections

We had the honor of attending the preview of Galia Lahav’s SS26 bridal collections: “KISS TELL” and “DON’T TELL.” A brand that defines haute couture and elegance, Galia Lahav once again enchanted the fashion world with breathtaking designs.

Globally renowned for redefining bridal and evening luxury, the brand has dressed celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, and Heidi Klum. At its core are founder Galia Lahav and creative director Sharon Sever, the brilliant minds who turned this couture house into an international sensation — now with boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and yes… Milan and Piacenza in partnership with Italian bridal leader Rebecca La Sposa atelier.

The opening of Galia Lahav in Milan marks a significant milestone: for the first time, Italian brides can explore the full universe of the brand without flying abroad.

KISS TELL: A Love Story in Couture

Set in the elegant Galia Lahav flagship in Soho, Manhattan, the presentation began with a black velvet cape (customized with GL initials), lace masks, soft lighting, DJ set, and morning bubbles (because why not?). The mood: sensual, glamorous, mysterious.

The KISS TELL collection, designed by Galia Lahav and Sharon Sever, unfolds like a love story — beginning with delicate melodies and building into a passionate crescendo. Each dress becomes part of this romance: vintage-inspired corsets, handcrafted lace, lush embroidery, powdery hues, floral appliqués, and even bold prints. It’s for the bride who doesn’t just wear a dress, but tells a story through it.

“This collection is for the bride who owns her story, her desires, and her presence. “KISS & TELL is a celebration of confidence, sensuality, and the power of choosing what to reveal and what to keep just for yourself.” – Sharon Sever, Head Designer.

Feminine yet bold, dreamy yet grounded, KISS TELL captures the emotional rollercoaster of modern love. From poetic minimalism to dramatic silhouettes, the designs reflect the multidimensional spirit of the contemporary bride.

DON’T TELL: Glamour with a Twist

As the applause faded, the models returned to the runway for the second collection: DON’T TELL, accompanied by a vibrant electro-swing soundtrack. A collection built on bold contrasts — structure and softness, innocence and allure, vintage inspiration with a modern edge.

Channeling the hidden world of 1920s speakeasies, the gowns embody a woman who is playful yet fierce, refined yet fearless. The atmosphere evokes The Great Gatsby, reimagined for today. Sheer details, daring cuts, and silhouettes made not only for the wedding… but also for the afterparty.

“This collection is for the bride who refuses to blend in. DON’T TELL is a celebration of mystery, confidence, and the thrill of breaking the rules—because the most captivating brides are the ones who keep you wanting more.” – Sharon Sever, Head Designer.

This collection is an invitation to embrace contradiction. Soft draping coexists with architectural tailoring; pearls are paired with edgy mesh; and even the accessories — gloves, headpieces, veils — exude both sophistication and rebellion. It’s bridal fashion with a wink.

A Soho After Party to Remember

Two daring, powerful collections that pay homage to the fearless woman — and the glamour of Gatsby’s era — could only be followed by a proper afterparty. Galia Lahav hosted a fabulous celebration in Soho: more music, more bubbles, and a whole lot of joy, honoring creations that once again set the standard for the contemporary bride.

As champagne flowed and guests mingled under the Manhattan night sky, one thing became clear: Galia Lahav isn’t just about dresses. It’s about emotions, empowerment, and the magic of a moment that lasts forever. With Milan now on the map, that magic is ready to enchant a whole new audience.
